Our strategy

Everyone in the UK deserves to have access to a decent home that they can afford.

Our Decent Affordable Homes strategy aims to improve the lives of people who are in housing need by increasing the availability of decent affordable homes. The strategy influences systemic changes to the housing system by supporting, testing and evidencing solutions.

In 2016, the Nationwide Foundation’s board of trustees reviewed the Decent Affordable Homes strategy and this will guide us until 2026.
