Antonia Bance and John Taylor appointed to the board of the Nationwide Foundation

The Nationwide Foundation is delighted to announce that Antonia Bance and JohnTaylor have been appointed to its board of trustees. Together they bring a wealth of expertise in housing, assisting the Nationwide Foundation in delivering its funding strategy, which aims to create decent, affordable homes for people in need.

Antonia is director of policy and communications for Co-ordinated Action against Domestic Abuse. She was previously head of campaigns at Shelter, as well as leading its policy work on reforming private renting. She has also worked for the Corston Coalition, YWCA and Oxfam, and is a member of the Hyde Housing Association residents' board, as well as a former trustee of the Fawcett Society.

John has over 20 years' experience in the housing, property and finance sectors and is currently the managing director of the housing services division at Mears Plc. He has expertise in supporting housing associations to develop products for low-income families and he has also worked within the private sector on solutions to accommodate people in housing need.

Ben Stimson, chair of the Nationwide Foundation says: "We are delighted to welcome John and Antonia onto our board. Their extensive experience in housing will enhance our collective expertise, and support us as we continue to fund the creation of affordable homes."
