Grants and social investments available to tackle empty homes

The Nationwide Foundation is offering grants and social investments to organisations which are bringing empty properties into use for people in need. Applications for grants and social investments of between £15,000 and £140,000 are invited between 1 May and 30 June 2013.†

Priority will be given to schemes including one or more of the following:

Funds are limited so the Foundation's support is expected to complement other sources of funding which the organisation has. Applicants can apply for grant funding or programme related (social) investment loans, depending on which are the most appropriate for the scheme.

Organisations and registered charities can apply for funding, however the Nationwide Foundation does not fund individuals or statutory bodies.
