The new strategy provides the framework from which the Foundation's current funding objectives have been set, which are to address housing issues, support financial inclusion and families.
The beneficiaries identified for support from the Foundation - survivors of domestic abuse and disadvantaged older people. These were found to be some of the least well funded groups, in terms of their housing and financial capability needs. Addressing these needs was therefore identified as a way in which the Foundation can make a significant contribution with its funds and seek to raise the profile of the issues which the beneficiaries face.
